This single-varietal Primitivo from the house Menhir-Salento shows as a black-red color in the glass. The bouquet smells of red currants, undergrowth and a slight menthol note. The palate is very full-bodied, with hints of blackberries, plums and polished tannins. Overall a typical and very fine Primitivo.

Pairs best with hearty stews, grilled meats or roast wild boar.
