Nero d’Avola – Disueri – 2020 Cusumano, Sicily, Italy
The Nero d’Avola grapes for this Sicilian wine grow at an altitude of 480 meters above sea level on soils of clay and loam. The maceration and fermentation of the wine takes 14 days under controlled temperatures of 24°C in stainless steel tanks. After a short period of aging, the red wines of Masseria del Feudo, located in central Sicily, are bottled.
It is best served with tagliatelle with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil or grilled meat with summer salads.
